Product & Display Rules
Simple rules for every vendor or sponsor selling, sampling or displaying something at Bak'd On The Bay.
Many kinds of businesses are welcome
You do not have to sell cannabis or hemp products to apply. We welcome food, art, clothing, accessories, wellness, services, education and many other kinds of businesses. We review each application by its overall event fit, safety, presentation and space needs.
Keep it clean and appropriate
Everything you sell or display must look clean, safe and appropriate for a public event. For example, no turkey bags filled with pounds of product on a table. Use suitable, clearly marked packaging or containers. Keep your booth neat and follow any safety directions from the event or fairgrounds.
Bring paperwork only when it applies
Different businesses need different paperwork. If a record does not apply to what you sell or do, you are not expected to provide it. Depending on your products or services, we may ask for:
- A license or permit needed for your kind of business.
- Food, product-safety or batch records, including a Certificate of Analysis when it applies.
- Clear product labels, ingredients, warnings or age limits when they apply.
- Proof of insurance when your business, product or service calls for it.
Simple event rules
- Only bring products and activities that are legal and allowed by the fairgrounds.
- Be honest about what a product is and what it does.
- If a label, license or batch record applies, it must match what you bring.
- We may ask you to fix or remove a product or display that is unsafe, misleading, unlawful or not appropriate for the event.
- Approval to vend does not mean the event is giving legal advice or approving every product.
Psilocybin and magic mushrooms are strictly prohibited
Psilocybin, psilocin, magic mushrooms, and any product represented or marketed as containing them may not be sold, distributed, sampled, displayed, consumed or possessed anywhere at the event or fairgrounds during the covered event timeline. This event rule applies to vendors, sponsors, their personnel and all other participants.
Event Management may immediately remove any person or organization that violates this rule, without refund, and permanently ban the violator from future events produced or operated by Hemptations LLP or Cannadispo.com.
Questions about your products?
Tell us clearly what you plan to bring when you apply. Rules can vary by product and can change. You are responsible for knowing the rules that apply to your own business. This page is general event guidance, not legal advice.
